Obituary of Ralph T. Gillespie

GILLESPIE-the death of Ralph T. Gillespie of 17 Newman St., occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Mr. Gillespie was born in Saint John, a son of the late Ralph Albert and Marie K. (Babineau) Gillespie and had been employed as warehouse supervisor with Saint John News Co. for over 40 years. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by three sons, Ralph Jr., Robert, and Thomas, all of Saint John; and one brother, Walter of Saint John. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 t o 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday afternoon at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
