Obituary of Elizabeth J. Gaudet

The death of Elizabeth J. 'Betty' Gaudet of 15 Cove Roadway, widow of Edward J. Gaudet, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2004. Mrs. Gaudet was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary Leona (Connors) Conlon. She was a former member of the Catholic Women's League of the Assumption Parish. She believed that 'Knowledge isn't hard to carry around.' and enjoyed the Biography and History Channels. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Hebert of Saint John; one sister-in-law, Connie Gaudet of Saint John; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Following cremation, Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose de Lima Church on Thursday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Black River, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick's Church, Black River c/o St. Joseph's Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Rd., Saint John, N.B. EON 1C8 would be appreciated by the family.
