Obituary of Lillian Bardsley

The death of Miss Lillian Bardsley of 14 King Square South occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2004. Miss Bardsley was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late John and Rebecca (Delaney) Bardsley and had been employed with Henry Birks and Sons until her retirement a number of years ago. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Frances Montague, Margaret O'Neil, and Sister Evelyn Bardsley, S.C.I.C.; and two brothers, John and Robert Bardsley. She is survived by one sister, Catherine Downie of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
