Obituary of Mary A. Delvallet

The death of Mrs. Mary A. Delvallet of 36 Ferris Lane, widow of J. Louis Delvallet, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2004. Mrs. Delvallet was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Rooney) Kirk. She had been co-owner and manager of the French Pastry. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Norene Delvallet. She is survived by two sons, J. Louis (Kathie) of Saint John, and Peter of Edmonton; five daughters, Marie Freeman of Saint John, Marguerite Stubley of Mississauga, Dolores Ferris (Thomas) of Saint John, Leona Delvallet of Halifax, and Patricia Delvallet of Saint John; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
