Obituary of Marie E. Chaisson

The death of Marie E. Chaisson of Loch Lomond Villa, widow of Amos Chaisson, occurred at her residence on Friday, March 26, 2004. Mrs. Chaisson was born in Rogersville, a daughter of the late Phillip and Salomie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She and Amos had celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in August of 1984. She is survived by three sons, Edward, Frederick (Betty), and Louis (Margaret), all of Saint John; six daughters, Theresa Chaisson of Halifax, Margaret McCormick (David) of Ottawa, Cecilia Marr of Saint John, Rita Doucette of Saint John, Emma Titus of Saint John, and Sylvia Harris of Calgary; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
