Obituary of Marie D. E. Patterson

The death of Marie D. E. Patterson of 106 Vaughan Creek Rd., Orange Hill, widow of Thomas Patterson, occurred at her residence on Thursday, April 1, 2004. Mrs. Patterson was born in St. Martin's, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Hoey) Holland. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Eunice), and Hazen, both of St. Martin's; five daughters, Patricia Muise (Joseph), Mary LeBlanc (Bill), and Sheila Golding (Brian), all of St. Martin's, Veronica Speight (Greg) of Saint john, and Susan Dakin (Gary) of Yarmouth, N.S.; one brother, Trueman Holland of St. Martin's; one sister, Walena Smith of St. Martin's; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Visiting on Monday at St. Williams' Church, St. Martin's, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. William's Church on Tuesday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. William's Cemetery.
