Obituary of Roger J. Goguen

<p>GOGUEN-the death of Roger J. Goguen, husband of the late Caroline M. (Frenette) Goguen, occurred at Loch Lomond Villa on Sunday, February 20, 2011. Roger was born in Lawrence, Mass., a son of the late David J. and Zelica M. (Babineau) Goguen, and had resided the greater part of his life in Saint John, where he had been employed as a C.N.R. trucker until his retirement a number of years ago. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by five brothers, Alcieme, Laurie, Alyre, Andrew, and Armand; and a sister, Irene Arseneau. He is survived by a son, David J.&nbsp; (Colleen) Goguen of Saint John; a daughter, Jeannette Mary (David) Goguen Braman of Hoyt, N.B.; a sister, June Poirier (Jean Paul) of Cassidy Lake, N.B.; two grandchildren, Gina (Kris) Fifield and Robert (Kim) McCormack; two great-granddaughters, Emma Jillian and Madison Caroline; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday at 12:05 PM Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of NB would be appreciated. <br /><br /></p>
