Obituary of Pauline M Thibodeau

The death of Pauline M. Thibodeau of Loch Lomond Villa occurred at her residence on Monday, April 19, 2004. Mrs. Thibodeau was born in Caraquet, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Hebert) Chiasson, and had resided in Saint John since 1944. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, August Gionet, in 1973, and her second husband, Alonzo Thibodeau, in 1999. She is survived by four sons, Edward Gionet (Carolann) of Pefferlaw, Ont., Gerald Gionet (Janice) of Orangeville, Ont., and Denis Gionet (Kimberley) and Lee Gionet (Michelle), both of Saint John; four daughters, Patricia Patterson (Terrence Lewis) of Kingston, N.B., Stella Waite (Trevor) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and Cecile Cyr (Francis) and Edna Cormier (Ronald), both of Saint John; one brother, Gerald Chiasson (Doris) of Saint John; four sisters, Patricia Paulin (Joseph) of Saint John, Mary Guignard (Joseph) of Hampton, and Delicia Stewart and Simone Riley, both of Saint John; 35 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
