Obituary of Mary E. McKENNA

<p>McKENNA, Mary E.- the death of Mary E. McKenna of Saint John occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Miss McKenna was born in Kinkora, P.E.I., on December 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Edward and Annie (McAleer) McKenna. She had lived the greater part of her life in Saint John where she had been employed as a waitress at the Admiral Beatteay Hotel for many years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Women's League. She is survived by a brother, Leonard McKenna of St. Peter's Bay, P.E.I.; her twin sister, Ella Lewis of St. Peter's Bay; several nieces and nephews, including Anna Moran of Quispamsis, Joseph Cummings of Saint John, and John Cummings of Quispamsis; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.</p> <p>Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church on Friday morning at twelve noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
