Obituary of Kathleen L. GARNETT

<p>GARNETT,Kathleen, L.-it is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Kathleen L. "Kay" Garnett, wife of Gerald A. Garnett, on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on Jan. 4, 1929, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Leslie and Kathleen (Costello) Callaghan.</p> <p>Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by one son, Gerry (Trudy) Garnett; two daughters, Kathy Garnett and Jill Roberts (Bruce); one sister, Marie Foley (John); one brother-in-law, Jack Walton; one grandson, Matt Garnett; two granddaughters, Lesley and Victoria Roberts; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Patsy Walton.</p> <p>At Kathleen's request there will be no visitation. Private graveside service will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Saint John Regional Care Palliative Care Unit would be sincerely appreciated.</p>
