Obituary of Jean Florence Conlogue

The death of Mrs. Jean Florence (Phillips) Conlogue of 20 Prince Edward St. occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 1, 2004, after a brief illness. Born in Saint john, she was the daughter of the late Louis A. and Margaret (Clarke) Phillips. Jean graduated from St. Vincent's High School and Modern Business College. She spent many years in the employ of Lantic Sugar in the Payroll Dept. and as well worked for the United Way and retired from Montreal Trust. Jean and Lou spent many happy years at their home on the Johnston Rd. in Loch Lomond. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Louis; her sisters, Margaret, Mary 'Mid', Barry, and Joan; and her brother, James. She is survived by a niece, Barbara, Mrs. Gordon Bergeron of Ottawa; a nephew, James Phillips and his wife Gael of Riverview, N.B.; and several cousins, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cathedral Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
