Obituary of C. Doreen TOBIAS

<p>TOBIAS, C. Doreen-the death of C. Doreen Tobias of St. John &amp; St. Stephen Nursing Home occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, following a period of failing health. Doreen was born in Saint John on August 16, 1931, a daughter of the late James and Christina (Kyle) Tobias.</p> <p>She had been employed with the New Brunswick Liquor Commission and at Titus Bakery. She was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Women's League.</p> <p>She is survived by one son, Stephen C. of Saint John; two brothers, Richard (Anne) of Sussex, and Donald (Lynn) of Hampton; five sisters, Geraldine Logan of Saint John, Shirley Nash (William) of Saint John, Barbara McCutcheon (Howie) of Kentville, N.S., Carmel Richard (Harvey) of Sarnia, and Donna Whitney (Marven) of Saint John; two grandsons, Joshua and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Friday afternoon at 12:05.</p> <p><br />Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. <br /><br /><br /></p>
