Obituary of Beatrice M. I. RAMSAY

<p>RAMSAY, Beatrice M. I.,-With great sadness the family announces the death of Beatrice Mary Irene Ramsay, which occurred on Friday, July 29, 2011, at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabella (Desroche) Chase. She was predeceased by a sister, Alice Wiggins; and two brothers, Leonard and Ernest Chase. She is survived by her husband, Denis Skidmore; her son, David Ramsay (Ruth Ingersoll); two brothers, Walter Chase (Phyllis) of Ottawa, and Edgar Chase (Inez) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. She established and operated the Beauty Spot and was very passionate about her business. Always the consummate business person, she established the Academy of Hair Design on Union St. in 1985 to impart her love and knowledge of the beauty industry to her students. Beatrice took great pride in the many accomplishments of her graduates. Beatrice was always happy spending time with her family and her garden was her delight.</p> <p>At Beatrice's request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday morning at eleven o'clock.</p>
