Obituary of Marjorie E. Evans

The death of Miss Marjorie E. Evans of 81 Main St. occurred unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, May 31, 2004. Miss Evans was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Dwyer) Evans, and had been employed in the Circulation Dept. of the Times Globe for a number of years. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League; the Legion of Mary; and the Forever Young Seniors Club. She is survived by two brothers, William and Murray Evans (Peggy), both of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Thursday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
