Obituary of Alvia Allen

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Allen, Alvia C. &ndash; The death of Alvia &quot;Al&quot; Conroy Allen of Loch Lomond Villa, occurred on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.</p> <p>Born in Bayfield, NB, on September 7, 1939, he was the son of the late Oral and Helen (Spence) Allen. Al was employed with the CN Rail as a track man for many years until his retirement.</p> <p>He was a resident of Loch Lomond Villa and former resident of McKellar Special Care Home in<strong> </strong>Nauwigewauk. He was a member of the RCL and belonged to the Hampton Rifle and Pistol Club. He is survived by his sister Della Richardson. He was loved by his sister Della, the owners of McKellar Special Care Home; John and Tanya McKellar as well as the staff and residents. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>At Al&rsquo;s request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 4<sup>th</sup> at 12:30 pm in the Loch Lomond Villa Chapel. Interment will take place in Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield, NB at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a local food bank of your choice.
