Obituary of Nellie Thomas

<p>The death of Nellie Thomas of Saint John, wife of the late Arthur Gallant, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 7 2012. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Chase) Dodd. Her favorite pastime was bingo but her greatest interest and love was her family. Survived by sons; Mark (Mary) Thomas, Stephen Thomas and Edward Thomas, daughters; Mary (David) Arsenault, Joanne (Ronald) Buckley, Judith Mason, Nancy Adams, Susan Thomas (Harold Giggey), Wanda Thomas, and Janet (John) Cosentino, sisters; Joyce Wall and Carol Bennett (Doug), one brother, Albert Dodd, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son Joseph Gallant, sisters; Josephine Cormier and Jacqueline Dodd, one brother Joseph Dodd as well as two son in laws; Terry Mason and Michael Adams.</p> <p>Arrangements are entrusted to<strong> Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home, </strong>100 Waterloo<strong> </strong>Street, Saint John (634-1965). Following cremation a private graveside service and interment will take place at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.</p>
