Obituary of Joseph Harold Owens

<p>Owens, &nbsp;Joseph Harold&nbsp; - The death of Joseph "Joe" &nbsp;Owens of Saint John&nbsp; occurred on Saturday, December 29^th, 2012 at the SJRH.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joe was a great cook.&nbsp; He was the former President of the South End Tenants Association and was a Commissionaire for many years until his retirement.&nbsp; Joe served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a bandsman.&nbsp; He was a bandsman from the age of 13 to age of 70.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife Margaret of 48 years, sister Dorothy Porter, two brothers Thomas and Lloyd, children; John, Sherry, Kevin, Kelly, Stacy and Tommy.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his mother Mildred Owens and father Tom.</p> <p>At Joe&rsquo;s request there will be no visitation.&nbsp; Following cremation a service will be held at Salvation Army 36 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Wednesday January 2^nd, 2013 at 11:00 AM.&nbsp; A private family interment will take place at a later date.</p> <p>Arrangements are entrusted to Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (506)634-1965&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="http://www.fitzpatrickfh.com/">www.fitzpatrickfh.com</a> .&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
