Obituary of Gail Patricia McCarthy

<p>The death of Gail Patricia McCarthy, wife of Robert McCarthy, occurred on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice. Born on February 8, 1943, she was a daughter of the late James and Frances (Campbell) Hart.</p> <p>Gail enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting and gardening. She also loved to watch the birds at her feeder.</p> <p>Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons;&nbsp; Peter (Doris) Erasmus of NT , Brian (Roberta) of Saint John, Jim Erasmus of AB, Robert McCarthy (Karen) of MB, her daughters; Laurie Erasmus (Glen Gallop) of Saint John, Fran Erasmus (Wali A. Wali) of Saint John, and Cathy (Carl) Guthrie of Saint John, sisters; Gloria (Donald) Creamer, Judy (George) McDonald, Jane (Robert) Pevlin, brother; Jim Hart, several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Gail was so proud of all of her 15 Grand Children and 9 Great Grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>In keeping with Gail&rsquo;s wishes, there will be no formal visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home Chapel, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965). Interment will take place in St. Joseph&rsquo;s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Children&rsquo;s Wish Foundation, or to Bobby&rsquo;s Hope House, would be appreciated by the family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
