Obituary of Rita Brideau

The death of Rita Brideau of Lachine, Quebec, and formerly of Saint John, widow of Norman Brideau, occurred in Lachine on Sunday, August 15, 2004. Rita was born in Petit Rocher, a daughter of the late William and Emma (Doucette) Arsenault. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Gerard, Romeo, and Liguori Arsenault; and one sister, Marie Brideau. She is survived by her companion, Roland McQuillen of Lachine; one son, Roger (Donna) of Cambridge Narrows; one daughter, Sandra Jordan (Charles) of Hamilton, Ont.; four sisters, Sister Stella Arsenault and Sister Doris Arsenault, both of Moncton, Carmel Cormier (Laurient) of Petit Rocher, and Jeanette Doucette (Rufus) of Sudbury, Ont.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
