Obituary of Suzanne Bastarache

<p>The death of Suzanne Marie Bastarache occurred at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on October 31, 2013. She was born in Saint-Marie, NB on December 11, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Fabien Collette and Marie Emma (LeBlanc) Collette. Suzanne was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed many family activities. Suzanne loved to knit, quilt, travel, and play Yahtzee with longtime friend, Vivian Calhoun. Suzanne will truly be remembered for her unforgettable Sunday family dinners.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by two sons: Ronald and Paul; three daughters: Pauline (Gary) Foster, Patricia, Jocelyn and predeceased by their father Gerard. Also survived by grandchildren: Alexandre, Andrew Foster, Matthew Foster, Rachel Foster and Grant; great grandchildren: Tenley and Levi Foster; brother: Neri Collette (Aldea); many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by daughter, Rosemarie.</p> <p>Resting at Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. and Tuesday November 5, 2013 from 10am-12pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 12:10 pm followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
