Obituary of Lynda Gray
It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynda Marguerita Gray, wife of the late David Gray, on July 4, 2021. Born in Saint John on May 23, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace (Minor) Bowser.
Lynda was literally up for anything. When she wasn’t shooting darts or marking bingo cards, she devoted a lot of her time helping others. Her previous employment was with Bayshore Health Care where she helped others who could not help themselves. Before Bayshore, she devoted a lot of her time driving taxi. She took extreme pride in what she did and where she came from. When she wasn’t working, she would be devoted to her family and friends. Always making sure everyone is taken care of before herself. She exceeded everyone’s expectations with her battle with cancer and was able to spend her last 17 months with family and friends. She will be missed so very dearly.
Lynda is survived by her loving children: Scott Gray, Dianne (Tyrone) Williams, and Jamie (Nadine) Gray; grandchildren: Breana Williams, Anderson Gray, Kylie Gray, and Abby Gray; sisters: Sherry (Kevin) Rooney, Cathy (Gary) Wilson, and Carolyn (Wayne) Boles; her partner Jim Farris; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and her parents, Lynda was predeceased by her daughter Stacey Gray and sister Cheryl Williams.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424).
