Obituary of Margaret Jean Seaman

Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, April 5^th, 2022, Margaret Jean Seaman passed away at the age of 89. Born in Saint John, Marg was the beloved daughter of the late William and Georgina Seaman (nee Getchell).

Maggie had a long career with Nortel and filled her spare time with friends at her cottage and trips around the globe. Her respect and admiration for family was apparent to all, as she cared for her mother for many years and looked upon her great-nieces and nephews as “grandchildren”.

Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her siblings Bedford Seaman, Leo Seaman, William Seaman, and Harold Seaman.

Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish (Saint Pius X Roman Catholic Church), 316 Somerset Street, Saint John, on Wednesday, April 20^th, 2022, at 11 o’clock.  Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John. Arrangements under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424).
