Obituary of Dorothy A. Roberge

Roberge, Dorothy Anne – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Anne "Dot" Roberge announces her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on September 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Lucy A. (Enman) Leslie. Dot will be missed by her children, Pierre Roberge, Johanne Roberge (Tara Chiovitti), Mai Roberge (David McKenzie) and Anne Bjork (Allan); three grandchildren, Lisa (Jordan), John and Ella; a sister, Jean "Bean" Porter; her friend and former husband, Jean Paul Roberge; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Dot was predeceased by her siblings, David Leslie, John "Sonny" Leslie, Jade Belyea and Lee McKay. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A celebration of Dot’s life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at The Nick Nicolle Community Centre, 85 Durham Street, Saint John. A private interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Harbour Christian Church, or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
