Obituary of Marilyn Ann Bastarache

Surrounded by her family, Marilyn Ann Bastarache of Saint John, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on February 24, 1963, she was a daughter of Shirley (Muir) and the late Donald Williams. Marilyn was employed with Tim Hortons in Saint John for twenty-three years, she enjoyed traveling to Cuba and loved animals. Besides her mother, Marilyn is survived by her son Corey Bastarache of Saint John, brother Fred Williams of Saint John, sisters; Christa Soucy (Chad), and Tammy Williams (Brian), both of Saint John, partner Stacey Driscoll, nephews; Tylar, Travas, and Zack, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family wish to express their thanks to the doctors and nurses at 3CN, 5AS, 3BN and 5CN, as well as Dr. Attard. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
