Obituary of Lisa Dawn Christian

Overcome with sorrow, the family of Lisa (Clarke) Christian, best friend and wife of Joshua Christian, announce her unexpected passing on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born March 25, 1974, she was a daughter of Brian Clarke and Pam Lucas (George). Lisa found great joy in caring for children and volunteering with the Crescent Valley Community Centre and the Tenants Association. She was a beautiful person who always saw the good in people and was known to always put others before herself. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Josh, she is survived by her son, Sean Clarke (Meredith Gillis) and his father, Doug Stein (Tara Cormier); daughter, Abagail Clarke-Christian; step-son, Kodie Whittaker; step-daughter, Cloie Whittaker; grandson, Robert Royce Nesbitt; sisters: Andrea Joy Keenan (Kevin) and Amanda Lynn Clarke; step-sister Karen (Leo) Girouard; step-brothers Collin (Sue) Lucas and George (Meagan) Lucas and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
