Obituary of Anthony Ward

The family of the late Anthony "Tony" Ward would like to share with our friends and his of his passing that occurred on June 13, 2017. Tony was predeceased by his parents Freeman Ward and Elva Stewart of Miscou Island, NB. Tony was a son, brother, father and grandfather. Those who knew him loved his good nature, he will be greatly missed especially by his brothers, sisters, his three boys Matthew, Andrew and Devon and most of all his partner, Joanne Mason. Tony was a simple man and did not want us to grieve for him with sweet words chiseled in marble on an ice cold stone. He said, "If you are ever going to love me, love me now, while I can know. Love me now, while I am living. If you have tender thoughts of me tell me now. If you wait until I am sleeping, never to awaken, there will death between us and I won’t hear you then. Let me know while I am living so I can treasure it." We would like to thank everyone that did just that while he was living.
