Obituary of D. Patricia Duncan

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Duncan announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Shannex Parkland in Saint John. Born on March 17, 1930 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Clarke) Duncan. Pat was the last surviving member of her family. Pat was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #64. She was also known as kind and compassionate and volunteered countless hours with Meals on Wheels. She will be sadly missed. Pat is survived by several cousins. Pat’s family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Shannex Parkland and her many caregivers who looked after her, for the care and compassion shown towards her. As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service, which will take place at Fernhill Cemetery on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Boys and Girls Club or Romero House.
