Obituary of Albert Norman Joseph Dupêré

It is with heavy hearts the family of Albert Norman Joseph Dupêré, loving husband of Mildred (Little) Dupêré, announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Born in St. Anne de Madawaska on January 10, 1934 he was a son of the late Frank and Eva (Michaud) Dupêré. Before retirement Albert worked as a crane operator for JD Irving Equipment for 49 years. In addition to his wife Mildred, Albert is survived by his children, Randy Dupêré of Kingston Peninsula, Heather (Yvon) Gallant of Kingston Peninsula and Jaqueline Hanlon of Quispamsis; step children, Wayne (Stephanie) Little of Nauwigewauk, Carol (Brian) Weston of Fairfield, Bonnie (Todd) Grant of West Saint John, Malcolm (Janet) Little of Saint Martins, Susan McGrath of Fredericton and Connie (Ronnie) Loughery of Fairfield; siblings, Edmond Dupêré of St. Anne de Madawaska, Lorraine Bouchard of Edmundston,and Louis of Saint John; sisters-in-law, Julie of St. Leonard, Anne of St. Anne de Madawaska and Leone of St. Anne de Madawaska; grandchildren: Ashlie, Madison, Jason, Tony, Scott (Stacey), Corey (Lori), Shelley (Luke), Kim (Will), David (Becky), Michelle (Donnie), Matthew (Diane), Jennifer (Nathan), Crystal (Justin), Michael (Tara), Jeffery (Kristin), Kristy (Tyler) and Tracey (Monte); and 27 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Yvette Sirios, Rita Oulette, Gaenette Moreau, Georgina Lalibeyte and Therese Lebel; brothers, Edward, Alphie, George and Laurier; sisters-in-law, Jeannelle and Charleen; and brothers-in-law, Claude, Nelson, Rene, Lucien, Robert and Jean. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in St. Martins Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Albert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB
