Obituary of Edward Cleveland Moore

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Edward Moore, husband to the late Gloria (Dempsey) Moore, announces his passing which occurred on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 25, 1950 in Saint John, he was a son to the late Oliver Cleveland and Mildred Moore. Ted drove an 18 wheeler for 45 years and was employed with many different companies throughout his time driving. Even his interests outside work involved cars and trucks as he enjoyed spending his time at car shows and watching races. Ted will be fondly remembered by his surviving family, his children Linda Dempsey and Edward (Karyn) Eidt, his grandchildren: Ashley and Brett Eidt and Drake Lynch, his siblings: Paul Moore (Susan Young) Linda Smith, Wayne Moore and Joan Short, his feline friend Sebastien, as well as many nieces, nephews and members of his extended family. Beside his parents and wife Gloria, Ted was predeceased by his brother Robert Moore and sister Betty-Jean Moore. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), where family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 5 and Friday October 6 from 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral liturgy will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, October 7 at 10 AM. For those who wish, donations made to Ted’s Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
