Obituary of H. Lynn O'Leary

It is with great sadness that the family of H. Lynn O’Leary, loving wife of Pat O’Leary, announces her passing which occurred on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bobby’s Hospice. Lynn was born on April 29, 1951, the daughter of the late Borden and Gertrude (Campbell) Pitt. Lynn will be missed by her husband, Pat of 43 years; her children, Sheri of Saint John and Jeff (Kate) of Milton, ON; grandchildren, Ben, Emily and Audrey; as well as all those whose lives she touched throughout her journey. In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her daughter, Melanie Dawn O’Leary (June 5, 1975 – June 8, 1976). Lynn graduated from Saint John Vocational School. She enjoyed her working years at NB Tel, Sears Canada, Tim Isaac Antiques and cherished her position as co-manager of the Hospice Shoppe. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate staff and volunteers of Bobby’s Hospice, as well as the numerous employees associated with the Extra Mural Program. The amazing support and care during this difficult period in Lynn’s life will always be remembered by her family. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Lynn may be made to Bobby’s Hospice, or perhaps you could visit the Hospice Shoppe – The store that Lynn was extremely proud of.
