Obituary of Joseph Patrick Chiasson

Chiasson, Joseph Patrick – The family of Joseph Patrick Chiasson, born in Saint John, NB on March 5, 1949 passed away after a battle of health problems on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Langley, BC. He was a son to the late Verda and Pat Chiasson. Joe grew up in Saint John and attended Saint John Vocation School. He was employed as an off-set press operator and worked for many businesses in the Saint John area. In his later years, Joe moved to BC. Joe enjoyed playing cards, pool and listening to music, but above all he loved his family and children. He left his family here on earth, who will miss him dearly. Joe leaves behind his sisters: Theresa (the late Kenny) Odgen of Hampton and Karen (Norman) Basque of Langley, BC, his grown daughters Shelly and Carrie both of Saint John, step-sons: Adam and Kenny of BC, along with many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his sister, Bonita Dent and his brother, Mark Chiasson. With broken hearts, Joe’s family would like to share his passing for those who knew him and say "Thank you" for your kindness and prayers. No services will take place by Joe’s request.
