Obituary of Michael David Morris

The death of Michael David Morris occurred on September 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph K. and Mary Agnes (Canney) Morris. He was a life long resident of Saint John having retired as a Correctional Officer with the Province of New Brunswick. He was a member of St. Peter's Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed his computer. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Theresa H. (Gallagher) Morris, son Michael D. (Catherine Paw), daughters Catherine 'Cathy' Cheeseman (Silas), Mary Theresa 'Tresa' Spence (Dale), Jo-Anne Myshrall (Darren Groundwater), all of Saint John, special nephew Robert 'Bobby' (Kelly-Anne), grandsons Tanner, Dale and Braydon, granddaughter Kenady, grand-nieces and nephew Sarah, Kyle, Kerry-Anne and Shannon and several cousins. His sister Mary Carol Vienneau predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at 11:00 am, from St. Peter's Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to St. Peter's Building Fund, Romero House-Soup Kitchen, IWK Children's Hospital or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
