Obituary of Katherine Lordon

LORDON, KATHERINE O. The death of Katherine (Foster) Lordon, wife of Donald C. Lordon, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2005. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Smith) Foster. Katherine was formerly employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Ward Clerk for family medicine on 4BN for many years. She was also involved with the Cathedral Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and taught Catechism at St. Joachim's Parish. Besides her husband, Katherine is survived by her son, Dr. Anthony Lordon (Sue) of Quispamsis, NB; daughter, Ann Burnett (David) of Saint John; brother, George Foster (Bernice) of Saint John; two sisters: Nancy O'Neill (Vern) of Oakville ON, and Carol Matheson (David) of Markham ON; five grandchildren: Katie, Leah and Benjamin Lordon, Stephanie and Michael Burnett, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visiting will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John, at 12:00 noon.
