Obituary of Burton Levi Campbell

Campbell, Burton Levi ? The death of Burton L. Campbell, husband of Pearl (Nickerson), of Saint John and Cambridge Narrows, NB occurred Wednesday December 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 13th, 1917 to the late Lester and Olive (Hovey) Campbell. Burton was a Long Shoreman in the winter and a contract painter in the summer. Burton is survived by his wife and three daughters: Sandra (Joesph) Butler of Cambridge Narrows, NB, Rose (Thomas) Killen and Brenda (Phillip) Cooper both of Calgary, AB; seven grandchildren: Elaine (Jamie) Shannon, Pauline (Rodney) Wilkens, Gregg (Stacy) Butler, Kurt (Carla) Killen, Jason (Jan) Killen, Tera (Jason) Faulconbridge, and Sean Chernipeski; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers: Clarence and Ralph Campbell; one sister Marjorie (Winston) Smith and several nieces and nephews. Burton was predeceased by three brothers Clayton Campbell, Leonard and Ernest Andrews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB 634-7424 with visitation from 2 ? 9 pm on Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am from St. Peter's Parish on Saturday, December 10, 2005. A Legion tribute service will be held on Friday during visitation at 7:30 pm. Donations may be made to Mill Cove Nursing Home Bus Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
