Obituary of Marie Dignard

The death of Marie Dignard of Saint John North, wife of the late Medric Dignard, occurred on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, surrounded by her loving family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Florence (Lavigne) LeBreton. She is survived by four sons, Marcel (Bernice), Daniel, Timothy (Judy) and Murray, four daughters, Gloria Ernst, Lauraine Dignard, Florence Freeze (Jack) and Isabel Dignard, several brothers and sisters, 10 grandchildren, Kathleen, Michael, Tammy, Monique, Lisa, Tracy, Samantha, Jamie, Holly and Timothy, six great grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Katelyn, Josh, Rebecca and Jonathan, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Gerard and one daughter, Lidivine. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the North End Food Bank or Romero House Soup Kitchen would be appreciated.
