Obituary of Gerald Edgar Bourque

The death of Gerald Edgar Bourque of Saint John occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born in Bronson, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Raymond and Laurette (Arsenault) Bourque. Gerald was employed at the Saint John Dry Dock for 35 years, before his retirement. He is survived by two sisters, Marie Gosselin of Worchester, MA and Velma Bourque of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest and Frank Bourque. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Clarendon Street, Saint John on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
