Obituary of Camilla Jean Conley

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Camilla "Midge" Jean Conley (Smith), wife of the late John Francis Conley at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the age of 72. Born in Apple River, NS, on June 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Percy B. and Lucille M. (Dunn) Smith. Midge worked at the Saint John Airport for many years, before her retirement in 1991. She was a loving mother to four sons, Terry Hanley (Patsy), Wayne Hanley (Susan), Danny Hanley (Jamie) and Mark Hanley (Janice) all of Oshawa, ON, two daughters, Sharon Richard (Paul) of Quispamsis and Karen Wall (Glenn) of Halifax, NS. She is also survived by two brothers, Hansel Smith (Myrtle) of Edmonton, AB and Ralph Smith (Rose) of Grand Barachois, NB, a loving and devoted grandmother to Cameron, Connor, Brooke and Adam as well as nine other grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Vivian Elderkin, Fauleen Rockwell and Madeline Krowchuk and three brothers, Thorton, Don and Glenn Smith. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
