Obituary of Audrey P. Parsons

The death of Audrey P. Parsons of 17 Highland Road, Saint John, wife of the late George T. Parsons, occurred on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on June 26, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanley and Frances E. (Nickerson) Vail. Mrs. Parsons was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion and was a former member of Victoria Street Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy P. Jeffrey and her husband Frederick, one sister, Juanita Campbell of Winnipeg, MB, two grandchildren, Christine Jefferey and Stacey Gallays, four great grandchildren, Jordyn Jeffery, Jamie Clark, Taylor Gallays and Madisen Gallays, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gordon and Cecil Vail. A memorial service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
