Obituary of Florence Christian Kearns

The death of Florence Christian Kearns formerly of Hickey Road, Saint John, wife of the late William Kearns, occurred on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Sussex on March 29, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Patrick and Nellie (Berry) Smith. She is survived by one son; Major William Kearns (Beverley) of Clayton, ON, one daughter; Judith Harvey of Saint John, one brother; Winston Smith (Betty-Ann), six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces. She was predeceased by son-in-law; Donald Harvey, one brother; Duncan Smith and two sisters; Georgie MacTavish and Marion Savoy. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm and Thursday from 1 - 2 pm. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
