Obituary of Iva Mae Little

Surrounded by her loving family and caregiver, the death of Iva M. Little, devoted mother and loving wife, occurred on Sunday, April 30th, 2006 at her residence in Morna Heights, NB. Born on June 7th, 1917 in Saint John, NB to the late Harry and Letitia (Moore) Graves. Iva worked at McAvity's in the planning department and as a polishing inspector. She was a member of St. John the Baptist (Mission) and St. Clement Church, the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #22 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Grand Bay Folk Group. Iva is survived by one son: Joseph of Morna, NB; two daughters: Juanita (Frank) White and Letitia Ann (William) Wallace both of Martinon, NB; one brother: John Graves of Black River, NB; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband Charles M. Little, son Charles T. Little, two brothers: Thomas and Robert Graves and three sisters Sophia Little, Lillian Whitney and Nina Grant. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated from St. John the Baptist (Mission) and St. Clement Church on Thursday, May 4th, 2006 at 1 pm. Internment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery following the service. Memorial Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
