Obituary of Denise Victoria Elizabeth McKinnon

McKinnon, The death of Denise Victoria Elizabeth McKinnon, companion of Francis (Frank) Powers, occurred on May 22, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Bishops Falls, NF, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leonard and Clara Bessie (Brace) Gallant. She loved her home and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her daughters Venus and Tanya (Michael), all of Saint John, Sarina (Michael) of Burtt's Corner, her brothers Roger (Sharon), David (Brenda), Kenneth (Debra), Clarence Leonard (Maria), Randall (Tanya), sisters Linda Saulnier (Gerry), Gloria Olsen (Stephen), Rosie Nogueira (Brian), all of Saint John, and Judy Arthurs (Vernon) of Vancouver, BC, her grandchildren Anne, Nikolas and Zachary, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her sister Holly and brothers Gary Lawrence and Mark Allan predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2006, at 2:15 pm from Brenan's Chapel followed by cremation. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
