Obituary of Alma H. Moore

MOORE, ALMA H.- The death of Alma Hazel Moore of 7 Wilton Street, Saint John, wife of Donald J. Moore, occurred on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. George, NB, on December 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Harold Herbert and Ada C. (Stewart) McCumber. Alma was a member of All Saints Anglican Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Bette Ebbett (Richard) of Gagetown, NB, one brother, Douglas McCumber of Welland, ON, two sisters, Una Porter (George) of Edmonton, AB and Joyce Livingstone of Saint John, two grandchildren, Jill Douglas (Don) of Ottawa, ON and Bruce Ebbett (Kelly) of Fredericton, NB, two great grandchildren, Owen Douglas and Alex Ebbett, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Arnold McCumber and one daughter, Mary Jane "Janie" Moore. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated.
