Obituary of SADIE A. WELLMAN

The death of Sadie Alberta (McIntosh) Wellman of Grand Bay - Westfield, NB, occurred on June 16, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 8th, 1926 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Avesia (DeWolfe) McIntosh. Sadie was a champion dart player, who was a member of House League Darts and Seniors at Branch #69. Sadie was also a skillful seamstress, an avid quilter and a woman who loved her family. Survived by her sister, Jean Danells of Kennebec Manor, her daughters; Donna Middleton (David) of Kingston Peninsula, NB and Debbie Touchbourne (Phillip) of Grand Bay - Westfield, her grandchildren; Richard, Arthur and Darren Middleton, Rachael-Ann (Touchbourne) Armstrong and Pastor Jeremiah Touchbourne, several great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Joyce Wellman of Edmonton, AB and several nieces and nephews. Sadie was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Richard George Wellman and her sisters; Helen Roberts, Hazel Taylor and Rita Mitton. At Sadie's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Remembrances may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
