Obituary of Vera Elizabeth Adshade

The death of Vera Elizabeth Adshade, wife of Lewellyn Adshade Sr., occurred on June 23, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Black's Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Eva (Leavitt) Cross. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by son Lewellyn Jr. and his wife Nancy of Saint John, daughter Carolyn Smith and her husband Thomas of the Nerepis, sister Florence Wright of Dartmouth, NS, grandchildren Ian, Richard, Angela, Carla and Stacie and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
