Obituary of James Harold Williams

WILLIAMS, JAMES H. JR.- After a courageous battle with cancer, the death of James “Jamie” Harold Williams Jr., of Saint John, beloved husband of Kizzy Kaye, occurred on Monday, July 3, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal, PQ on June 3, 1961, he was the son of James H. “Sonny” and Helene (Comeau) Williams of Saint John. Jamie was a buyer/seller with Al’s Ultra Car Sales and Service for many years. He enjoyed stand up comedy, acting with the Saint John Theatre Company and locally produced films and was well known for emceeing various local and non-profit events. He developed comedic dinner shows and murder mysteries, was well known as his altar ego “Shakey Evidence”. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by one brother, Alan Williams (Karen Connell) of Saint John, four sisters, Margaret Ann Williams of Saint John, Elizabeth “Betsy” Walsh (Troy) of Dawson’s Creek, BC, Helene Muir (Don) of Bloomfield, NB and Patricia Williams of Fredericton, NB, five nephews, Todd, Jim, Matthew, George and Josh, father and mother-in-law, David and Sharon Kaye of Parlee Brook, NB, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by beloved sister, Gwen Williams and grandparents Charles and Marguerite Comeau and Harold and Inez Williams. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street, on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM, followed by cremation.
