Obituary of Anna Cecelia Kinsella

Kinsella, Anna Cecelia The death of Anna Cecelia Kinsella, wife of the late Harold J. Kinsella, occurred on September 15, 2006 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. She was born in Sydney, NS. She was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Tobin) Fitzgerald. After an extensive career she retired from Century 21 Clark and Sleigh. In her younger years she was a speed skater and was an avid bowler. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League and owned her own club. She was a lady of ‘charity unlimited’ which benefited many over the years. She was a foster parent to children in India and Africa and sponsored Fatima, a girl from Peru, while she learned English and French and then attended nursing school here in New Brunswick before returning to her native country as a nurse. She is survived by her sons Michael John Kinsella (Sandra) and David Walter Kinsella, daughter Patricia ‘Trish’ Harley (Chris), sisters Nellie Cooper and Aggie Musgrave, grandchildren Tracy Cooper (Paul), Jeff Cook (Crystal), Kory Kinsella (Patty), Angela Kinsella, Nicole Kinsella and Jacqueline Kinsella, great-grandchildren Ryan, Kenda and Sean and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents her brothers and sisters Sarah, Mike, Gertie, Loretta, Larry, Jack, Tom and May predeceased her. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Following cremation the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
