Obituary of Alice E. Cobham

The death of Alice Elizabeth Cobham of 184 Bedell Avenue, Saint John, wife of the late Malcolm Roy Cobham, occurred on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanie (McCaig) Melanson. She was a member of St. Pius X Parish. Alice is survived by three children, Daniel Cobham of Saint John, Carol Ann MacKendrick and David and their 2 children Christopher and Bernadette of Moncton, and Roderick Cobham and his wife Barbara and children Melissa and Sarah of Commox, BC, and Elizabeth of Trail, BC, one brother, Gerald Melanson, three sisters, Theresa O’Keefe, Josephine Melanson and Bernadette Melanson all of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, John Melanson. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street, Saint John on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
