Obituary of Dow A. Jenkins

The death of Dow Alan “Dowie” Jenkins of Nauwigewauk, NB, son of Dow H. and Katherine (Saunders) Jenkins, occurred on Monday, October 30, 2006 at his residence. Dow graduated from Simonds High School in 1993. He was an avid dart player and enjoyed bowling and coaching youth bowling. Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Sheena Proctor of Saint John, Angie Saunders and her daughters, Theresa, Sarah and Lisa, grandparents, Merlin and Marie Jenkins, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John Saunders. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in the United Pentecostal Cemetery, Cumberland Bay. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated
