Obituary of MARGARET ELIZABETH ELLINGWOOD

At the Carleton Kirk Lodge, on November 6, 2006, Margaret Elizabeth Ellingwood, 92, after a lengthy illness. The widow of Ernest Merrill Ellingwood, she was born, raised, married, reared her family, worked and grew old in the North End she loved. She was employed for years as a sales clerk at F. W. She took great pride in being a niece of Don Messer and liked nothing more than to listen to his music and to "shake a leg." Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Albert, a daughter, Barbara, two brothers, Millard and Willis, and a sister, Mildred Cole.
