Obituary of JEAN E. BURNHAM

The death of Jean Edith (McGaghey) Burnham of Kiwanis Lodge, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB wife of the late John Burnham, occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sussex, NB, she was a daughter of the late, Charles and Lillian (Rogers) McGaghey. Jean is survived by her two daughters; Geraldine Childs (Joe) and Rae Ruttle (Wayne) both of Saint John, one brother; Gerald Bartlett (Frida) of Sussex, and two sisters; Donna Virtue (Benny) and Linda Stewart (Ron) both of Sussex, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Ann Anningson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Jean is predeceased by her son; Charles Anningson, brothers: Ronald, Roy, Harold, Lorne and George McGaghey and sisters; Evelyn Landry and Joan Thompson. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, from 2 … 4 and 7 … 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 10:30 am from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment to take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
